Nick has taught well over 20,000 people to dance, as well as hundreds of professional ballroom dance teachers.

Nick is the “Dance Instructor to the Stars.” He trained Robert Duvall in "Tender Mercies" and Cindy Williams in "Dreams Come True," and has worked with other celebrities such as Sandy Duncan, Frankie Avalon, Mickey Rooney, Lee Majors and Tess Harper. Nick Felix is a walking “who’s who” of celebrity dance stories.

Nick is also the award-winning choreographer of over a hundred television dance programs, including the first Barney^® episodes, and has served on the National Dance Board Committee.

In addition to choreography, Nick is an accomplished playwright, screenwriter, author and movie director. His first movie "Waitin to Live" was released in 2002.
